The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence participated in the NATO-Accredited Centres of Excellence Marketplace

The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence delegation headed by deputy Director LTC Christophe NAVE participated in the NATO-Accredited Centres of Excellence Marketplace in Brussels, May 10th-11th, 2022.

This year, the Marketplace officially was opened by Mr. Mircea GEOANĂ, NATO’s Deputy Secretary-General. Each Centre of Excellence had the opportunity to display contributions made to the Alliance and for all Staff at NATO Headquarters to recognise, understand, and embrace the value of the expertise, support and advice provided by the 28 NATO-accredited Centres of Excellence.

The 2022 Marketplace was an excellent opportunity for the Centre to present the activity, newest projects and products.

The NATO ENSEC COE was established on 10^th of July and accredited on 12^th of October, 2012. Currently it operates as a widely recognized international military organization with the aim of providing qualified and appropriate experts advices on questions related to operational energy security.

The mission of the NATO ENSEC COE is to assist Strategic Commands, other NATO bodies, nations, partners, and other civil and military entities by supporting NATO’s capability development process, mission effectiveness, and interoperability in the near, mid and long terms by providing comprehensive and timely subject matter expertise on all aspects of energy security. The mission includes cost effective solutions to support military requirements, energy efficiency in the operational field, and interaction with academia and industry.
