Visit of Japan delegation

On November 8, Senior Research Fellow of National Institute for Defence Studies Michito Tsuruoka and Counsellor Shinichi Yamanaka visited the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence. After the short meeting with director Col Romualdas Petkevičius, Centre`s activities were presented by Arūnas Molis, Head of Strategic Analysis and Research Division.

Arūnas Molis made short presentation how the Centre was created, which activities are making an impact to the NATO Agenda and why energy security is important. Among other Centre’s activities the attention was drawn to Conference and Industry Exhibition “Innovative Energy Solutions for Military Application 2014” (IESMA 2014) which will be organized by the NATO ENSEC COE in November 2014.

Mr. Michito Tsuruoka commented positively on the activities of the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and expressed that Japan is interested in area of Energy security.
