Visit of Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces

On March 5, General Mieczysław GOCUŁ, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces and Major General Jonas Vytautas Žukas, Chief of Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, visited the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence. COL Gintaras Bagdonas, Director of the NATO ENSEC COE introduced the distinguished guests to NATO’s role in energy security and activities of the NATO ENSEC COE. The introduction was followed by presentation on main projects of the Centre presented by LTC Luca Dottarelli, Head of Doctrine and Concept Development Division of the NATO ENSEC COE.

COL Gintaras Bagdonas invited General Mieczysław GOCUŁ and his delegation to encourage the authorities of Poland to join the NATO ENSEC COE activities, even the possibility to join as Sponsoring Nation.

General Mieczysław GOCUŁ expressed interest in the activities of the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence as well as in exploring ways of closer cooperation.
