THE NEW DIRECTOR OF THE NATO ENSEC COE CELEBRATES HIS APPOINTMENT WITH A 100 KM RUN

Col. Romualdas Petkevičius, recently appointed director of the   newly-founded NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence, participated in and successfully completed a 100 km run in 11 hours and 28 minutes during the Baltic Cup 100 ultra-marathon which took place in Vilnius on 21 July 2012.

This year, the participants had to complete 50 2km laps in Vingis park in Vilnius. This was the first time that the Baltic Cup 100 ultra-marathon was organized in Vilnius. In previous years, the run took place in Nida, a small city by the Baltic
