The NATO ENSEC COE pays a visit to the Belgian Pipeline Organization (BPO)

On the 21-26th of January 2018, the NATO ENSEC COE began one of its major scheduled projects this year - the inspection of biggest European pipeline companies. First visit was done to the Belgian Pipeline Organization (BPO), which is the part of a larger NATO Central European Pipeline System (CEPS).

The BPO welcomed the NATO ENSEC COE subject matter expert Mr.Vytautas Butrimas along with his colleague from USA Mr.Jacob Brodsky. Both experts had a thorough discussion with the BPO leaders and specialists about better ways of strengthening security of strategic objects and control stations through cyber security perspective.

The NATO Central Europe Pipeline System programme manages the operation, financing and maintenance of an integrated, cross-border fuel pipeline and storage system in support of NATO's operational military requirements during peacetime, crisis and conflicts, including expeditionary operations.
