The first Energy Security Strategic Awareness Course is being held at NATO School Oberammergau

The first Energy Security Strategic Awareness Course has started on 28th September at NATO School Oberammergau (NSO), Germany.

The one week course was developed by NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and Naval Postgraduate School (USA) and attracted around 40 representatives from NATO ant Partner nations. Participants from Korea, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and other partnership for peace countries attends the course.

The purpose of the course is to raise awareness on NATO role in energy security, energy geopolitics and energy related conflicts, critical energy infrastructure protection as well as energy efficiency in military.
