The delegation of Italy's Parliamentary Intergroup visits the NATO ENSEC COE

On the 12th of March, the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence was visited by the Ambassador of Italy in Lithuania, His Excellency Francesco FRANSONI, as well as the representatives of the Parliamentary Intergroup “Friends of the Baltic Republic”. The delegation was welcomed by the NATO ENSEC COE Director, Colonel Romualdas PETKEVIČIUS. The Director was accompanied by the Centres heads of divisions.

Lieutenant Commander Andrea MANFREDINI, the head of Doctrine and Concept Development Division, presented the Centre’s main functions, expertise and aims. Further on LTC MANFREDINI highlighted current ongoing and planned projects. Delegation was mostly interested in the subject of Energy Security in its complexity and it’s very close ties with Cyber Security and, from the technological point of view, with Dual Use concept.

At the end of the meeting Senator Isabella RAUTI was delighted to sign and present best wishes in the NATO ENSEC COE book of the Honoured Guests.
