The delegation from Austrian Peace Academy visited the NATO ENSEC COE

A group from the Austrian Peace Academy, based in Windhaag, Austria, paid a visit to the NATO ENSEC COE as a part of the 10th study trip to the Baltic States. The director of the Academy, Colonel Günther J. Rozenits, has already organized such study trips to all countries of Southeast Europe and Western Europe. This year the Baltic States were chosen as the principal direction.

The guests arrived to Lithuania after having visited Poland. Next countries on the visiting list were Latvia, Estonia and Finland. The initial objective of the meeting was for the delegation to learn more about Centre of Excellence and be inspired with its successful practice. For this reason Heads of all Divisions of the NATO ENSEC COE gave a briefing on the Centre’s mission and principal activities as well as presented the flagship events hosted by the Centre or in cooperation with partner entities. The guests were also introduced with the ongoing researches and the upcoming events organized by the Centre.

The meeting was considered to be a successful practice of educational cooperation between the NATO ENSEC COE and the Austrian Peace Academy. Therefore, mutual expectations were expressed to continue this practice in the future.
