SME from ENSEC COE attended the “Baltic Sea Region security challenges after Ukraine” conference

On the 23rd of February, Mr. Lukas Trakimavičius, Subject Matter Expert from the Research and Lessons Learned Division attended the “Baltic Sea Region security challenges after Ukraine” conference. He spoke about the energy transition of the Baltic Sea region, its decoupling from Russian energy supplies and relevant energy infrastructure protection challenges.

Other panellists included representatives from Energinet, the Royal Danish Defence College, the Swedish Defence Research Agency, the International Centre for Defence and Security, and the Technical University of Denmark, among other institutions.

The conference was organised by the Danish Institute for International Studies in collaboration with Royal Danish Defence College and Center for War Studies, University of Southern Denmark.
