Pilot Energy Security Awareness Course

On 25-29 May 2015 at Vilnius University, Institute of International Relations and Political Science in Vilnius, the Pilot Energy Security Awareness Course took place. The aim of the course was to raise awareness on current energy developments and vulnerabilities for NATO and develop a common understanding of current NATO`s energy security agenda.

The Energy Security Awareness Course was organised by the NATO ENSEC COE and U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. Participants were from the military, governmental agencies and academia and are in roles that require knowledge of, and education in, critical energy infrastructure protection in, and energy security in general.

In the autumn 2014, the M3-131 Energy security Strategic Awareness course will be held at NATO School Oberammergau
