New Defence attache of Canada to Lithuania visited ENSEC CoE

On October 6th, newly accredited Defence Attaché of Canada to Lithuania Colonel Pascal Demers have visited the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence. Met by Deputy Director of NATO ENSEC CoE Lieutenant Colonel Nicolas Henry and Head of Doctrine and Concept Development Division Lieutenant Colonel Luca Dottarelli, guest was introduced to the centre and its activities in Energy Security field.

The meeting started with the overall presentation of the NATO ENSEC CoE mission, structure and main activities given by the LTC N. Henry. Subsequently, the delegate and Canada’s Chargé D'affaires Jeanette Stovel were introduced to each division of the Centre and their main projects by partaking in bi-lateral meetings with representatives from each section. During the visit guests aslo met with visiting professional from Canada professor Larry Hughes.

Canada supports ENSEC CoE with Government grant of 1 million Canadian dollars from Canada’s Global Peace and Security Fund.
