NATO ENSEC COE & the Military Academy of Lithuania cooperating on energy efficiency

On June 1st 2018 an SME of the NATO ENSEC COE gave a lecture for the third year cadets at the Military Academy of Lithuania.

The lecture was devoted to presenting practical aspects for changing energy consumption behaviour in the armed forces. Ms Jennifer Doran introduced the evidence on how up to 20 percent of annual energy savings can be achieved through behaviour change initiatives at the UK military installations. It is noteworthy that this approach does not require any major additional investments and is more related to the routines of the personnel working in the installations.

This lecture is an integral part of the Sustainability and Energy Security training course lead by Dr Gintaras Labutis.
