NATO ENSEC COE presented its project in biggest military exhibition „Eurosatory 2016“
On 13-17th June, the team of NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence have participated in the biggest military and defence exhibition „Eurosatory 2016“ that took place in Paris, France. In there, they have presented the award wining project Hybrid Power Generation System (The HPGS) for all the participants.
„I am very glad that we have received this unique opportunity to present the HPGS for a wider military community. „Eurosatory“ attracts contractors, military personell and government officials from all around the world, so this is a perfect way to spread our idea and concept even wider“, – said the Director of the NATO ENSEC COE Colonel Gintaras Bagdonas.
Members of NATO ENSEC COE spend all week presenting the system to thousands of interested parties. The jodint ENSEC COE and developer company‘s „Pfisterer“ stand every day received around 500 interested people and explained the concept of the whole Hybrid modular system and its use in military. The were representatives from the United States of America, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Israel, China, France, Poland, Italy, Georgia, Ukraine, etc.
During the event, Deputy Director of the ENSEC COE Lieutenant Colonel Nicolas Henry, held a panel on Energy Security in military. In the panel the were representatives from private companies and military that shared their experience on providing or using new techmnology solutions for military.
