NATO ENSEC COE hosted Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Working Group
The meeting of the Allied Command Operations Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Working Group has been successfully concluded during the three day period from the 20th to 22nd of February, at NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence.
The Centre was happy to host the event which brought together members from various NATO nations to discuss energy efficiency and environmental protection on the operational level. The aim of the meeting was to increase the synchronization and cooperation across all of the NATO stakeholders in the field. Furthermore, by improving energy efficiency of military operations the improvement would be transferred to the logistic footprint, military capability and environmental impact. As one of positive examples of NATO ENSEC COE one of its deployable Hybrid Power Generation and Management System was presented.
