NATO ENSEC COE expert Heiki Jakson participated at Lithuania National Defence Volunteer Forces training

On January 24 soldiers from 8th Territorial Unit of the Great Battle Military District of Lithuania National Defence Volunteer Forces at training were learning to build Inuit`s snow houses. At exercises, among other soldiers, also participate NATO Energy security Centre of Excellence expert Heiki Jakson as member of Voluntary Defence League of Estonia. Guest instructors of the exercises overviewed rules of surviving under extremely cold weather conditions and teaches soldiers how to build Inuit`s snow houses. After that, soldiers practically constructed two Inuit`s houses. This training was a part of soldiers surviving skills development.
