NATO ENSEC COE conducted a regular lecture to a class of Civil Servants of Lithuania

On the 25th of May the NATO ENSEC COE conducted a regular lecture to a class of Civil Servants of Lithuania. This was part of the process of acquainting and refreshing the knowledge of the Lithuanian Civil Servants of other branches of the government and government funded organizations.

The lecture conducted by COL Gintaras Bagdonas, the Director of NATO ENSEC COE, involved an overview of the competences and mission of the COE, as well as a brief presentation of past and present projects that the Centre is engaged in. Furthermore to contextualize the work of the COE, the Director talked about the security of the Baltic Region’s energy sphere and the situation of the European energy infrastructure network.

The guests were especially interested in the Centre’s on-going projects, such as the HPGS and its energy management system, as well as the Energy Efficiency in Military Operations course.
