NATO ENSEC COE and NFIU staff visit to the Parliament of Lithuania

On the 15th January, staff members of the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence (ENSEC COE) and the NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania (NFIU) gathered together in order to commemorate the day of Lithuanian defenders of freedom in the Parliament of Lithuania.

International team was introduced to the events of 13th January, 1991, when thousands of unarmed and Lithuanians stood bravely with songs against the Soviet regime. The guided tour around the Parliament was given by colonel Jonas Gečas (Ret), which by that time was a chief of High Council defence headquarters.
