NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence Directors meeting with Minister of Energy

On the 1^st of September, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr Žygimantas Vaičiūnas, accompanied by Vice-minister, Mr Simonas Šatūnas, gladly accepted guest, Colonel Gintaras Bagdonas, Director of NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence.

Colonel Bagdonas presented to the Minister the Centre, its tasks and major ongoing projects, briefed on most important organized events, trainings and seminars.

During discussion it was agreed that the existing challenges in the field of energy have determined unconditional necessity for the close cooperation amongst various stakeholders. It was agreed to look for more ways of mutual interaction and to share essential information between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania and NATO ENSEC COE.
