Maritime Security Workshop

On 16 – 18 June 2015, Director of NATO ENSEC COE Col. Gintaras Bagdonas and Subject Matter Expert of Education, Training  and Exercise division Lt. Cdr. Murat Tuncer participated at 4^th Maritime Security Workshop (MARSEC WS) which has been held in MARSEC COE-Marmaris/Turkey. The aim of this workshop was to continue to focus on Maritime Security issues on global level with a specific aim to review Multinational Maritime Security Interagency Doctrine (MMSID).

Col. Bagdonas provided a speech in the opening of 4th Maritime Security Workshop as a key note speaker and moderated Energy Security Panel in the workshop. Lt. Cdr. Murat Tuncer presented Maritime Domain of Energy Security in this panel.

During the visit Col. Bagdonas has made an official visit to director of MARSEC COE Rear Admiral (LH) Cihat YAYCI. During the visit both side agreed to continue and develop cooperation in accordance with mutual interests in areas identified.
