International Conference: Non-Military Dimension of New Generation Wars. The Energy Component

              On the 17^th of March the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence (ENSEC COE) together with the Ukrainian National Institute for Strategic Studies and Centre for Global Studies Strategy XXI  co-organized an International Conference “Non-Military Dimension of New Generation Wars : The Energy Component” in Kiev, Ukraine. Director Col. Gintaras Bagdonas participated and moderated one of the panels, whilst experts Jaroslav Hajek and Benjamin Short presented their findings from the NATO ENSEC COE’s “Energy in Conflict” research series. The participants of conference discussed issues such as energy in hybrid warfare, using Ukraine as a case-study, critical energy infrastructure protection, cyber-attacks on energy infrastructure and energy politics. The conference was an excellent example of the benefits of the partnership between the NATO ENSEC COE and Ukrainian institutions.
