Energy Security Program with Regional Focus Is Back to Georgia Again

The second edition of the Regional Energy Security Awareness Course has started on 24^th April in Tbilisi, Georgia. The 5 days’ curriculum was developed by the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and Naval Postgraduate School in Monterrey, and in support of Georgia’s Military Scientific Technical Center DELTA. The classes are being hosted by NATO Liaison Office in Georgia.

The purpose of the course is to explain energy interests, developments and threats, raise awareness on NATO role in energy security and set up future interagency cooperation.

The training audience has been formed form Georgian governmental agencies and institutions such as Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Environmental Agency and others.
