Energy Efficiency in Military Operations course officially closed at the NATO ENSEC COE

On 24th of May the international training course hosted annually by NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence (NATO ENSEC COE) in co-operation with U.S. Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) was officially closed. In the final conference, which took place at NATO ENSEC COE, over 20 participants shared their final observations and discussed possible improvements for the future.

The main objective of this course was to raise awareness and improve knowledge of energy security importance in military domain by sharing best international practices of energy management. During five days, participants took parts in various discussions, individual readings, seminars, and lectures from speakers from different countries. They also had a chance to discuss delicate topics about innovative energy efficiency approaches and acquired better knowledge of modern energy efficiency related technologies.

Taking into account the positive outcomes of the course and valuable contribution of all the participants, the course is expected to take place again next year.
