Director of NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence visit to the NATO HQ

Colonel Bagdonas, Director of NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence, visited the NATO HQ in Brussels on 29 May. The Director had an office call with Vice Admiral Ignacio HORCADA, the representative of Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT) at NATO HQ and briefed on the Centre's activities and priorities. Admiral Horcada outlined the priorities of SACT gen Mercier, and discussed the increasingly growing roles of NATO Centres of Excellence.

Colonel Bagdonas also delivered a brief on the NATO ENSEC COE to the representatives of Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD) with participation of NATO partner nations. The presentation was followed by intensive discussions. Participants of meeting showed great interest in the Centre's activities, especially training and efforts for enhancing energy efficiency, including cooperation with NATO ESCD, S&TA and other partnership activities.
