Deputies of the permanent delegations to NATO visited NATO ENSEC COE

Deputies of the permanent delegations to NATO were welcomed by NATO ENSEC COE Division heads CDR Andrea Manfredini and Maj Scott Serkin.

The main goal of the visit was to improve the understanding about the energy security issues in Europe, to introduce the nature of the activity of NATO ENSEC COE, to talk over the role of NATO in the field of energy security. During the meeting deputies had the opportunity to discuss the topics related to energy security forecast for the near future, as well as to ask questions related to the current geopolitical development impacts on national securities of various states.

The deputies represented delegations from 10 countries: Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Island, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Norway. The representatives also had meetings with NATO Force Integration Unit Lithuania, Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
