On the 22nd of October the NATO ENSEC COE was visited by the representatives from the NATO Force Integration Unit (NFIU). The NFIU delegation was headed by Lieutenant Colonel Marek SKROBICKI, the Branch Chief CIMIC Coordinator and Liaison of Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast. The guests were met by the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence Deputy Director Lieutenant Colonel Christophe Nave, who gave an in-depth presentation about the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence, its mission, organizational structure and main activities.

Later on, NATO ENSEC COE subject matter expert Lieutenant Colonel Cezary Kazlowski introduced Strategic Analysis Division mainly focusing on its activities and conducted academic research studies. Both sides discussed potential cooperation in the field of research and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Director LTC Christophe Nave invited NFIU to attend a high-level conference “Defence and Climate Change” organized by NATO ENSEC COE which will take place next year on 14th of May in Paris.
