“Danish Defence Market” hosted by the Danish Embassy visited the NATO ENSEC COE
On the 10th of April, the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence received the delegation of “Danish Defence Market” which was hosted by the Embassy of Denmark to Lithuania. The delegation was headed by the Defence Attaché to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, Colonel Niels Henrik JOHANSEN. The guests were welcomed by the NATO ENSEC COE Director Colonel Romualdas PETKEVIČIUS and Head of the Strategic Analysis Division Mr. Artūras PETKUS.
“Danish Defence Market” delegation represented various businessmen, scientist as well as officials from the Danish Embassy in Lithuania, NATO Force Integration Unit, Danish Defence Association and others.
Centre’s Director expressed his gratitude for a visit and emphasized the importance of Danish contribution to the NATO and the Centre. Colonel R. PETKEVIČIUS was particularly happy to remember Danish companies that participated in NATO ENSEC COE organised conference and exhibition “Innovative Energy Solutions for Military Applications 2018” (IESMA 2018) last year in Lithuania. Their participation had a significant added value to the event and the Centre.
Later on, NATO ENSEC COE Director delivered a presentation about Centre, current and upcoming projects, studies and research works done by the COE subject matter experts. Mr. Artūras PETKUS, the Head of the Strategic Analysis Division, presented several ongoing studies and their importance to the NATO, Member as well as Partner Nations.
