Chief of Defence of Latvia have visited the ENSEC COE

On 22nd March, Chief of Defence of the Republic of Latvia Lieutenant General Raimunds Graube with delegation have visited the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence. The guests were met by the Director of the NATO ENSEC COE Colonel Gintaras Bagdonas, Deputy Director Lieutenant Colonel Nicolas Henry and heads of two centre's divisions - Lieutenant Colonel Luca Dottarelli and Artūras Petkus.

Director Col. G. Bagdonas presented general vision, objectives and main activities of the NATO ENSEC COE. After presentation, heads of NATO ENSEC COE and members of delegation discussed about other Energy Security issues in the Baltic region.

Latvia is one of the Sponsoring Nations of the NATO Security Centre of Excellence, contributing to the budget and providing an expert in the capacity of the Subject Matter Expert for Strategic Analysis and Research Division.
