NATO ENSEC COE subject matter expert delivered a lecture on the protection of critical oil & gas infrastructure from terrorist threats

On the 14th of April, the representative from the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence Mr. Lukas TRAKIMAVIČIUS, Subject Matter Expert of the Research and Lessons Learned Division delivered an online lecture at the “Critical Infrastructure Protection from Terrorist Attacks” course, organised by the NATO Centre of Excellence - Defence Against Terrorism (COE-DAT).

The lecture, titled “Protecting critical oil and gas infrastructure from terrorist threats” discussed the theory and practice of critical energy infrastructure protection, examined the threat of terrorism to oil & gas infrastructure, and proposed a number of potential terrorist threat mitigation strategies.
