NATO ENSEC COE delegation presented the Centre in the exhibition organised by the Joint Fuel Service of the French Military Forces

Last week, the delegation of the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence participated in the exhibition dedicated to the innovative energy solutions for military applications, which took place at the town of Chalon-sur-Saône, France. The event was organised by the Joint Fuel Service of the French Military Forces. The exhibition was inspected by the Major General Jean-Charles FERRÉ, Director of Joint Fuel Service of the Military Forces (Directeur Central du Service des Essences des Armées (DCSEA), and Colonel Sylvain HILAIRET, Commander of the French Forces Petroleum Base at Chalon-sur-Saône (Directeur de la Base Pétroliere Interarmée (BPIA).

The NATO ENSEC COE delegation was led by the Centres Deputy Director LTC Christophe NAVE (FRA), who presented an overview of Centres ongoing projects, courses, experimentations and researches. Deputy Director was accompanied by the Head of Research and Lessons Learned Division Dr. Reiner ZIMMERMANN, who presented Centres conducted studies and analyses. The presentation was followed by the subject matter expert of the Doctrine and Concept Development Division Mr. Wsewolod RUSOW, who provided an informative outlook on the concept of the Hybrid Power Generation and Management System (HPGS) and presented its capabilities.

The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence highly appreciated the opportunity to participle in such event and exchange knowledge and expertise of innovative energy solutions with the participants of the exhibition. Also the NATO ENSEC COE was especially glad to present its expertise and projects to the French Joint Fuel Service of the Military Forces, the one of the Centres Founder States and the Institution which provides the funding and personnel to the NATO ENSEC COE.
