NATO ENSEC COE delegation at workshop organized by European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats

The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence Subject Matter Expert delegation participated at two-day workshop “Hybrid Threats and Energy Supply Networks” organized at the end of October by the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats.

The event acted as a platform for various NATO and EU countries' organizations and national representatives to share the best practices and exchange information on lessons learned, as well as emerging vulnerabilities in the sphere of energy and hybrid threats.

Subject Matter Experts from NATO ENSEC COE committed to the workshop by providing their expertise in the form of presentations and panel discussants. One of the most important topics were the recent case study done by NATO ENSEC COE on the abnormal maritime activities conducted by the Russian naval fleet in the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea gathered increased interest. As well as issue of Baltic Region desynchronization process and regions vulnerabilities and dependencies.
