The all-pervasive nature of the construction industry and lifecycles spanning several decades, place infrastructure high on the To-Do list for climate-friendly planning. Although it is hardly taken seriously by the public, the construction industry is inextricably linked to the problem of GHG emissions and a solution - sustainable solution - for climate change without rethinking / restructuring the construction industry is hardly possible.
