Study “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Solutions in NATO and PfP Countries’ Military Operations”

NATO ENSEC COE is preparing a comprehensive overview of the best Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy solutions during the military land, naval and air operations of NATO and PfP countries. It also includes an overview of selected countries' policies and strategies regarding EE and RE issues in future military activities.

By sharing the best EE and RE solutions and future development visions, the project supports NATO and PfP nations to improve their knowledge about Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy matters in the military field to reduce negative environmental impacts and defence expenditures, as well as enhance military resilience and security.

A report of the study is expected to be publicly available by April 2021.
